Auditions!

We'll be holding auditions for our winter play, The Odd Couple on Monday, January 15 at 6:00 pm at the Discovery Faith Community Church in Lanesboro. Director Tom Barnes is looking to cast 6 adult males and 2 adult females in this hilarious comedy by Neil Simon. Please call 507-272-2270 for more information.  Hope to see you there!

On Sunday, February 18, we will hold auditions for And Then They Came For Me from 2 to 4 pm at the Discovery Faith Community Church.  On-site review of this play recounted by contemporaries of Anne Frank can be made at Lanesboro Public Library, Fillmore Central HS library and Lanesboro HS library. Performance dates: Cresco Theatre/Opera House, April 13, 14, 15; Lanesboro FCB, April 20, 21 and Decorah New Minowa Players, April 27,28. Announcing LCT's 2017/2018 season!

We are so excited about our upcoming season! This winter we'll be presenting "The Odd Couple" directed by Tom Barnes. Auditions will be January 15, with performances at the end of February. Our summer musical will be "The Music Man" directed by Rick Nance, with Rita Dalzell as Musical Director. "Silent Movies in the Park After Dark" in September again. And this year, we will present “And Then They Came for Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank” in April and directed by Rick Nance.  Should be a great year! Tonight and Tomorrow night!

Join us for Silent Movies in the Park - After Dark! Featuring the work of six local rookie filmmakers.  Come join us for an evening of fun, family friendly, FREE entertainment on Saturday and Sunday nights, September 9 and 10, in Sylvan Park in Lanesboro.  Entertainment begins at 7:30 and the movies start at 8:00. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat opens tonight at 7:00 pm!!  One of the most enduring shows of all time, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat is the irresistible family musical about the trials and triumphs of Joseph, Israel's favorite son. The first collaboration of composer Andrew Lloyd Webber (Jesus Christ Superstar, Phantom of the Opera, Cats) and lyricist Tim Rice (Jesus Christ Superstar, The Lion King), Joseph blends pop, country and rock into an uplifting, technicolored story of biblical proportions.

Retelling the Biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colors, this magical musical is full of unforgettable songs.
